Need a pick-me-up in the morning or some refreshment at the gym? With the new porcelain to-go cups from SIEGER by FÜRSTENBERG, you can enjoy your favourite drink whenever and wherever you want – on the train, at the office, in the park. The handcrafted cups are a high-quality, sustainable alternative to disposable cups. Designer Michael Sieger envisaged that each cup would be one thing above all: a constant, truly personal companion, perfectly matched to its owner’s style. This vision is encapsulated in the collection’s name, “My Companion”.

While the porcelain cups’ tapered shape is simple and familiar, the four extravagant decors each make their own individual statement. They feature, respectively, elegant black-and-white stripes with a band of 24-carat gold; images of a natural paradise in subtle blue-grey hues; a vibrant design with pink flamingos; and a superheroine in comic book style. Each to-go cup comes with a sturdy silicone lid that’s colour-coordinated with the decor and has an opening through which you can comfortably sip both hot and cold drinks. The closing mechanism can be rotated 360 degrees and clipped on the opposite side so it doesn’t bother you while you’re drinking.

An optional, 2 mm thick leather sleeve is available to protect the fingers from heat when holding the cup. The sleeve is made in Germany and tanned using a 100% plant-based process. Each sleeve is handsewn and embossed with the SIEGER star symbol. A sleeve is not included as standard, but can be purchased as an extra in either blue or black complementing the colours of the cup.

Each travel cup comes in a gift box, ready to be given as a wonderful present that will accompany its recipient for a very long time. The porcelain cups and silicone lids are dishwasher-safe (except for the Cross Stripes model with the 24-carat gold band, which the manufacturer recommends should be washed by hand).
